Who Am I ?

Hi friends, I’m Alexsis!

I am a natural light lifestyle photographer. I am a born and raised Florida girl. In addition to my photographer business, I am a full time stay at home mom to my little boy, Kaden. He is the light of my world and my inspiration! After having Kaden, I could not stop taking pictures of him. I would set up little sets in his room with mats, signs, and special outfits just to take his picture. I remembered the camera my mom bought when I was in middle school, so I dug it out of my closet and began taking even more photos with it. I decided to ask a friend to model for me, and I was instantly hooked. I could not wait to plan for another shoot. It turned into a hobby very quickly. I began doing more and more research, reaching out to other photographers, buying lots of new equipment and having more and more inquiries from people wanting to actually book sessions with me. So, after lots of prayer and help from my family, I turned my hobby into my business. My first priority is being the best mom to Kaden that I can be and be able to cherish our time together while I am able to be at home with him. Photography is something that I love to do and gives me a creative outlet that helps aid in having a sense of self apart from being a mommy 24/7. It can definitely be a battle balancing the two, but I have to remind myself to give myself GRACE. I absolutely love what I do, and I hope my clients feel the joy that photography brings me at every session I go to.

How did you know where to begin?

First and foremost, lots and lots of prayer. I love the Lord with all my heart, and I want to constantly be doing His will for my life. No matter what I am doing, I know that I just want to be His light in this world and glorify Him in all that I am and do. Then there is my fiancé, Dylan and my parents. They have helped me so much! I have watched my mom be an entrepreneur since I was a little girl. Her business has been and will always be mine and my brother’s second home, she practically raised us there. She has owned her own business for thirty-six years now so, she knew exactly what I needed to do and helped guide me every step of the way. The pieces of the puzzle just began to come together and here we are. I would not be where I am without the Lord and my family.

In my free time you can find me...

I am a huge family girl! I take Kaden to visit my mom at her store at least twice a week and we go over to my parents house every Sunday for dinner if not more throughout the week. Family is my everything!

When not hanging out with family, I am spending time with Jesus, playing dinosaurs with Kaden (his favorite thing to do right now), re-watching New Girl or Friends, with Dylan, for I don’t even know how many times now, snuggling up with our dog, Tucker, or giving my plants some TLC.
